AIG AIG Names Two Top Executives for Environmental Unit: "NEW YORK, Jan 05, 2009 (A. M. Best via COMTEX) -- AIG | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- American International Group Inc. has replaced the top leadership of another insurance subsidiary, AIG Environmental, the company said.
Russell Johnston was named chief executive of the unit to replace Joseph Boren, the company said in a statement. AIG (NYSE: AIG | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) also named Kimberly Hanna executive vice president and chief operating officer, reporting to Johnston.
The statement said only that Boren had left the company. Efforts to reach AIG officials for comment were not immediately successful.
The moves at AIG Environmental come a month after the top two officers of one of AIG's flagship operations, Lexington Insurance Co., left to join Ironshore Inc. (BestWire, Dec. 9, 2008"
