Huebel Named Catlin Canada Chief Underwriter: "Catlin Canada Inc., the Canadian operating unit of the Bermuda-based Catlin Group Limited, announced that David Huebel joined the company on January 5, 2009, as Chief Underwriting Officer.

He will be based in the Toronto office and 'will be responsible for the implementation and execution of the Catlin Group's underwriting plan for all lines of business across Canada,' said the bulletin. 'He will work closely with the individual underwriting teams in the development of the existing portfolios as well as investigating the potential for new areas of business.
